it was quiet and in a very good location! Close to the interstate higway, stores and lots of places to eat!
They advertise on line that they have microwave and refrigerators in every room but my room did not have either one! When I asked the manager about this he stated no that you have to ask for them ahead of time! False advertisment! Also I booked a room with One king size bed and was given a room with two Queen size beds! The Toilet was broken and did not work! smoke detector was broken with wires hanging down from the ceiling! I pointed all these things out to the manager but was not offered any type of compensation!

Not a damn thing!!!!!! Would not recommend this to anyone!!!!!!!
Was at this hotel on friday september 23rd 2011. When we arrived it was almost midnite because we were involved in a car accident on the way there. We checked into the hotel and paid cash for this one night stay that was supposed to be a two night stay. We were not even there 5 minutes and I was called down to the front desk and was told we were being kicked out because we had a dog in our room. (Which I did not have a dog in either of the rooms I rented, it was someone across the hallway that had the dog. The rooms are disgustingly filthy, one light bulb in the whole hotel room. The sheets were stained with what looked to be like urine and the sheets had a horrible odor. After we finally got things straightened out that it was not us with the dog I asked for a refund for our second night as we would never stay there again. (The rooms looked like we were witnessing a murder scene) bare electrical wires hanging from the ceilings and open outlets in the walls with bare wires hanging out of them also. When we went to check out of our rooms early saturday morning I realized they overcharged us for the rooms. We booked them for 45 dollars a night and they tried charging us 55 dollars a night. After we finally got this figured out and I was given a refund (after complaing and demanding a refund of the over charge the manager of the hotel asked me to never stay at his hotel again. I do not appreciate being called a liar, being stolen from until I demanded my money back. I dont think if I was your company I would want to be associated with a shit hole run down dump like this one.

The staff was good and fine, so I would stay here again. The room was good, had essentials, like a shower and bath sheets. The cost was me$ 87. Location: the hotel was very close to restaurants. A few times I ate at Kfc, located a 10-15 minute walk from the property.

The staff were friendly. The room was nice and had all amenities, more than what one would expect in a motel.
There was no maid service. I was surprised that no one came to clean the room after one night's stay. Even bathroom towels were not changed. We had to call to get fresh towels.

Pleasant front clerks and breakfast.
Thin walls- could hear people bickering as they came in at 1:30 AM and doors slamming most of the time we were there.

The quietness of the hotel due to lack of customers.
The pool wasn't properly taken care of... not enough chemicals it was murky and smelled mildewy.

Helpful staff and a clean room. The ample parking was a plus, and the hot water was reliable. The TV in my room had issues, though I was quickly offered another room. The overall experience was peaceful, but some amenities could use more attention.

It was a good pick for a quick stop in Cedar Rapids with great value for the cost. The staff were friendly, and I appreciated the coffee available even though there was no breakfast. Be aware that the pillows are quite small.

The amenities are rather lacking. The pillows are strangely short and stout, failing to offer proper support. Cleanliness issues affected the stay, with occasional trash or empty cans found not disposed of in the designated areas. Security concerns arise from easily accessible entrances that anyone can utilize, which could be a real worry if you're traveling with family.

The hotel is conveniently located near Veterans Memorial Stadium. We loved the spacious Queen room-it was clean and the fridge kept our drinks perfectly chilled.
In my wife's opinion, a kid-friendly playground would be great.
